I am a thinker, predictor and practitioner of social media. As well as blogging, I speak, present and commentate.
2016 – Present: Senior Vice President, Hill + Knowlton Strategies Canada. I provide digital and social media counsel to clients across the country with focus on the consumer audience.
2016 – Present: Principle, Ed Lee Consulting LTD. I provide brands and agencies strategy support across the dimensions of brand, digital and social media. I also provided new business support for agencies looking to bring some extra digital oomph to their pitches, and speak at conferences on the subjects of digital inspiration, education and how marketing is evolving.
2010 – 2016: Director, Social Media DDB Canada. I lead the social media practice of DDB in Toronto, Radar DDB, housed in Tribal DDB’s Toronto office.
2009 – 2010: Managing Director, com.motion. Led the social media and online strategy practice of Veritas Communications. Marketing Mag named me one of their 11 “Ones to Watch” in their annual survey of the leading marketers under 30.
2006 – 2009: Account Director, iStudio Canada. Managed and led projects for a wide variety of clients within Canada’s leading Internet communications consultancy. Project manager, lead strategist, account lead and client counsel. Created corporate, campaign and internal Web sites. Provided search, email and social media consulting.
2006: Senior Consultant, Fleishman-Hillard. Serviced accounts such as Yahoo!, Gatorade and The Score within the marketing communications practice group.
2005 – 2006: Senior Consultant, Strategic Objectives. One of Canada’s most storied and award winning PR agencies, focusing on consumer packaged goods brands such as Kraft and Cadbury.
2003 – 2005: Account Executive, GolinHarris (UK). Technology, B2B and corporate public relations for clients such as SAS, BEA, Honeywell and Samsung.
