We’re pretty excited at DDB Canada this year. Not only are we Strategy Magazine’s Agency of the Year (for the second year in a row!) but we also came top in Strategy’s Annual Report Card, ranking the performance of the top creative shops in the most prominent local and global award shows!

Since the inception of the report almost 20 years ago, DDB has been at the top of the heap 11 out of 19 times. Scooping up hardware in 11 out of the 15 shows in 2010, DDB’s haul includes a Silver Lion at Cannes, Best in Integrated and Gold in Digital at the CMAs, two Golds at the ADCC Awards, and the list goes on. With an impressive 97 awards under its belt this year, the agency received accolades for its long list of stand-out campaigns including Unilever Knorr Sidekicks’ “Salty” campaign, Canadian Cancer Society’s passionate “Join the Fight,” and Canadian Tourism Commission’s “Locals Know”. Just as with our agency of the year win, I’m not going to say me joining DDB had anything to do with it, but I’m not going to say it didn’t have anything to do with it. But it’s not about me – there are hundreds of super smart, talented and creative people that have done work for DDB Canada over the year, and many brave clients who let us create work with them.
