How to blog: A CEO’s guide (log-in required) – Seeing as quite a few people in my bloglines have linked to it, I thought I’d add my thoughts to the NYT’s look at blogging CEOs.  CEOs naturally have more responsibility and a higher profile than the rest of us so it’s a given that they need to be given more direction when blogging.  As Dave mentioned, our own CEO has just started blogging and it’ll be interesting to see where his blog goes (so far so good!)

Understanding blog marketing – a nice little podcasting primer for us public relations practitioners looking to capitalize on active search engine optimization (SEO) and really give our forward thinking, blogging clients a google juice boost 

A reality check – We’ve all drunk the Kool Aid, but maybe we could do with some perspective.  The five greatest strengths of social media are also its five greatest weaknesses 

And for the Canadians:

H&K expands into Calgary – with an oil and gas focus.  Good move as Calgary is the world’s fastest growing city due in most part to Alberta’s amazing natural resources.  Wonder if the energy industry needs any blogging advice?
